The futility of blogging: an improvised analysis.
What is the point of expressing your daily happenings on a website? Is is really vital that everyone including complete strangers know what you had for dinner and why you lounged your ass on the couch all day? The people who would care would have already found out from you.  Face it people, nobody really cares. The only people who want to read your blog are usually bored friends or lurking sadists (i admit, i'm the latter) who read to laugh.
Then you have the rant-y bloggers who post whenever they feel something is unjust or when they are plain pissed. Mostly this ends up in comments either consisting of
a) "Yeah! I totally agree."
or
b) " Fuck you, you suck."
Ok, you have unloaded the stress of whatever but what is the point of having other people read it?
Now, I have you thinking "This guy is a hypocrite, he is bashing the very thing he is doing." I am. But I attempt to mentally justify the rants as a "testing the waters" approach. The other stuff, well, now that I have switched schools, some people I dont contact that much but most of the posts are protected, not for a wide audience. In addition, if I really need to vent, I have my own private blog in which only I view. If you want to see some of the protected stuff, just comment and you MIGHT just get that privilege.

rant time

Apparently, TPS is in vogue now. little croppings of the "Such Great Heights" video are starting to piss me off. The song is great, dont get me wrong on that. However, it, i donno, kinda loses its luster when everyone else is playing it. I just remember playing the album over and over again last year. I still listen to it once in awhile.

anyway..........

spring break:
I did the impossible: injure myself playing golf. Dont ask how, not that you care.
Chads getting me a new sox fitted cap while hes back east, gotta pay him back though.
I'm ~3 days behind on bio studying, still ahead of kenny though
Thinking back on it, the such great heights video presents an interesting concept. What would people think about my existence as viewed from a 3rd person's perspective? Then raises the question of where the root of self conciousness exists. I need to think less of life's questions and just live it. Just leave it at that.
